Abstract
about the work
After focussing on trees within the landscape, and interpreting them with a more traditional technique, Louise has recently moved away from this and has begun to explore the pared down linear aspects of the vertical against the horizontal. This includes some movement through bold background brush strokes and an exaggerated colour palette to include neon. This new palette is bringing Louise much joy!

Louise Hepworth-Wood
Louise studied Creative Arts BA Hons at Nottingham Trent University before further studying a PGCE at Bretton Hall College, Leeds. Louise taught Secondary and Primary school Art in various Bradford schools for 23 years before in 2016, embarking upon establishing herself as a full time artist.
